Low Poly Groundwork
A downloadable asset pack
One texture atlas, one material, soft rounded edges and lots of cozy little details on top.

9 ground types × 7 shapes = 63 tiles.

- Grounds: Grass, Dirt, Stone, Sand, Snow, Cobblestone, Forest Floor, Gravel, Ice
- Shapes: Block (1 m), Slab (0.5 m), Ramp, Ramp Outer Corner, Ramp Inner Corner, Valley, Diagonal

- Snap the tiles to a 2 m grid and rotate them in 90° steps.
- A Slab on top of a Block is exactly as high as the top of a Ramp, so ramps lead straight onto your plateaus.
- Stack Blocks for cliffs and higher levels.
- Every ground fits next to every other one: grass next to sand, snow next to stone.
- Details always stay inside their own tile and never poke into the neighbour.

Every ground tells its own little story: flowers and grass tufts on the meadow, starfish and shells on the beach, mushrooms and autumn leaves on the forest floor, snowy rocks, ice crystals and chunky pebbles. Small stones peek out of the earth sides, and grass, snow and sand drip softly over the edges.

A ready-made example hill with a sand beach, built only from pack tiles, with lights and a camera. Open it, see how the pieces connect, then build your own world.

- FBX, GLB and OBJ for every tile, sorted by ground type
- Source .blend with all tiles and the example scene
- One 1024 × 1024 palette atlas, one material for the whole pack
- Pivot at the bottom center, real-world scale (1 unit = 1 m)
- 1.9k to 8.5k triangles per tile (exact numbers in Asset_List.csv)

- Unity: use the FBX files, set the atlas Filter Mode to Point, grid snap 2 m.
- Godot: use the GLB files, works great with a GridMap (cell size 2 × 1 × 2).
- Unreal: use the FBX files, import scale 100 (grid = 200 units).
- Blender: open the source .blend and build right away.

Use the tiles in personal and commercial projects, as often as you like, and change them however you want. Please don't resell or share the files themselves. Credit is not required, but always appreciated: Groundwork by PolyForge.
